Ali Moeen Nawazish
Ali Moeen Nawazish, BRITAIN’S brightest student really is in a class of his own after passing a record 23 A-Levels in a single year – 22 at A grade. Ali Moeen Nawazish sat 22 A-Levels and two AS-Levels – the equivalent of another A-Level – in just 12 months in a bid to gain a place at Cambridge University. His incredible achievements won him a place on a computer science degree at Trinity Hall Cambridge – where he is currently coasting through his first year.
Ali, whose family live in Pakistan, said: “I didn’t find it particularly stressful. I enjoyed it. I’ve a thirst for knowledge. Ali sat all the exams with accredited boards Ed-Excel and CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) at the Roots High School in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. His school scholarship paid the £2,500 registration fees. Ali is the first member of his family to study in the UK.
Pakistan Army wins Gold Medal
An event was organized by the British Army in 2010 for world militaries to compete in toughest patrolling competition; there were total 750 soldiers who participated in this competition from worldwide, Pakistani soldiers were awarded by the Gold Medal for being the toughest soldiers capable of patrolling in the most difficult conditions. Soldiers across the world descended on the Brecon Beacons in Wales to experience through one of the toughest exercises ever devised. The Cambrian patrol tested the soldiering skills of the teams as they crossed some of the most arduous terrain one can imagine.
The teams had to complete challenges as well as has to observe and to investigate about the forces of enemy, cold-river crossings in full kit without access to boats, first-aid and defensive shooting under attack.
Pakistan Army has won this award by beating the major armies of the world like United States, Australia, India, Canada, and France. Pakistan’s Nation is proud of our Army.
Dr. Hina Siddiqui
Dr. Siddiqui’s presentation was declared as one of the top three oral presentations in the conference, where a panel of experts decided upon the top three finalists. Over 200 scientists delivered their presentations from 69 countries. Pakistani Scholar Dr. Hina Siddiqui won the best “Oral Presentation Award” in the 11th Eurasia Conference on Chemical Sciences. The international conference was held in Jordon from Oct.6 to Oct.10, 2010.
Dr. Siddiqui is a PhD in organic chemistry and currently working as research officer at International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS) at Karachi University. In the Eurasia conference, a shield and certificate was presented to Dr. Hina Siddiqui and the organizers also waived the registration fee of upcoming 12 Eurasia Conference on Chemical Sciences which will be held in Greece in 2012.
Namira Saleem’s star is about to launch as she is set to become Pakistan’s first astronaut. Her flight will be in 2012. Sir Richard Branson, chairman of the Virgin Group, officially launched Namira Saleem as a Virgin Galactic Founder Astronaut in Dubai in March 2006. She completed her last term of training in a TS-400 Simulator. Namira said it was her childhood dream to become an astronaut.
She is also the First Asian to skydive from an altitude higher than the peak of Mount Everest, at 29,480 feet. Namira also hoisted the national flags of Pakistan, the UAE, Monaco, the EU and a universal peace flag at the North Pole on April 21, 2007 and at the South Pole on January 10, 2008. She is the first Pakistani to trek to both the North and South Poles. “As Pakistan’s Honorary Ambassador of Tourism, I’d like to invite the world to experience Pakistan’s rich culture and to touch the world’s top most mountain peaks, like the K-2,” she stated. It is a great Honor as no other Pakistani has ever done this and she surely deserves to be appreciated.
Syed Izhar Haider Abdi
Syed Izhar Haider Abdi is the student of PhD in Biomedical sciences; He is the first biomedical engineer of Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology who has done his PhD in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. He astonished Korean scholars when he completed his doctoral degree in a complex topic of Biomedical Engineering a year before the usual schedule.
Usually it takes 4 years to complete a complex topic like Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine but Izhar has completed his degree in just three years. He has done his PhD on fully funded scholarship which was offered by the government of South Korea. He has also done his some researches in United States. Besides practical part of his studies, he has 5 SCI journal publications during PhD while 2 is the requirement for the same. Besides he has 16 conferences proceeding in different countries of the world including America.
Sitara Brooj Akbar
Shining Star and the daughter of Pakistan, Sitara Akbad at the age of 11 years old has set the new world record in O-Level by passing six subjects that include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Sitara Akbar is the youngest from Pakistan who holds the IELTS at the age of 11; she was successful by attaining 7.5 bands out of 9. Now, she is preparing herself for A-Level. Sitara is eldest of her siblings.
The little genius from Chiniot, Pakistan has been making headlines across local media but is yet to receive any recognition from the Government of Pakistan. According to her father Brooj Akbar, she developed a habit of questioning everything taking nothing for granted at a young age. There is one only reason she took the test to begin with was to get an informed idea of where she stood at the international level concerning English. Sitara speaks English with the confidence of an adult, giving speeches in front of large audiences at the tender age of five. She hopes to become a scientist and chemistry in particular has captivated her. May God bless Pakistan like this shining star.
Syed Adnan Ahmed Subzwari
Syed Adnan Ahmed Sabzwari is one of the talented Pakistani. He is Graphics Designer, 3D Animator, Scale Modeler & Teacher. He has shown his talent to the whole nation specially, his research work in the Scale modeling and free energy field; he also made contributions in many other fields. Syed Adnan Ahmed Subzwari is a National and International awards holder. He claims that he has designed a Fuelless engines and generators which can help Govt. of Pakistan in the energy sector. Adnan Subzwari is a young revolutionary genius and inventor of Pakistan.
Ghazal Khanzada is brilliant student of 2nd Year in Eagle House Higher Secondary School Tandoallahyar. He is working hard to become a motivational speaker, IT expert and Social Worker. He has also earned a Diploma in Computer Hardware and Urdu. Ghazal started publishing a magazine about education to promote education in all over Pakistan. His favorite magazine is Monthly “Phool” Magazine.
Muhammad Aaqib is the student of 2nd year at Punjab College Chakwal, Pakistan. He has won several awards by participating in different competitions of school. He said “All the credit of of my success goes to my mother”. He always got 1st position is the class. In future he want to serve himself as a doctor. He is participating in speech competitions from the age of 10. He has 1st position in debate at divisional level.
He is domestic cricketer of Pakistan for 5 years. He has played many rural tournaments which were arranged by Pakistan Cricket Board. Haris lives in Taxila Cant near Rawalpindi. He recently did his intermediate level. His aim is to join Pakistan-A or Pakistan Senior cricket team, but nowadays he is looking forward for departmental cricket from where Haris can get a proper chance to represent his country.
Haris said “Actually I am a cricket player and I am playing cricket since I was a child. My favourite Cricketer is Michael Clark from Australia. There are many moments which are remember able for me but two of them are very special for me. One of them is that T20 match which I have played against Afghanistan provincial Team in which I have scored 55 not out and took 3 wickets. And second one was inter-dist U-19 Test match against Faisalabad, we were near to loose, but I played a key role and saved the match from my unbeatable 42 runs in pressure situation.
My coach Qamar Abbas is very nice person. He knows the true skills of cricket. He really helped me a lot in improving my cricket techniques. He is currently in a list of coach panels in Pakistan Cricket Board. He was also declared Manager of Faisalabad regional u-23 cricket Team last year. I am training hard with my coaches for that and I hope I will join soon!”.
Qamar Siddique and Muhammad Azeem
While the Pakistani cricket team was defeating the West Indies to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup, Qamar Siddique and Muhammad Azeem were making the world’s largest cricket ball in April, 2011. While talking to media both the claimers expressed good hopes for their newly created cricket ball and told that it took 15 days to make the world’s largest cricket ball.
The ball was made with the same material that is used in professional cricket. It took material equivalent to 300 balls to make the world’s biggest ball. The weight of the ball is 42Kg.
